Background

I began designing web sites while working at Middlesex University in statistical analysis and marketing research. In 1996 I developed the first comprehensive departmental site for Planning and Development. On moving to The Quality Assurance and Audit Service, I designed and developed the site to allow real-time updates throughout the University.

In the Spring of 2000 I moved to the North West for family reasons and worked for MMSC Ltd. on web development and design projects before moving to Supanet Ltd - a Top 10 UK ISP.

While at Supanet, I also worked on sites for Time, Tiny and The Computer Shop.

During 2005 I developed a spare parts online shop for Fort Vale Engineering.

From 2005 I have run my own businesses in ecommerce. I built the website for Teddy Bear Friends and am owner of this online shop that sells teddy bears and quality gifts.

In 2013 I developed and operated Bright Baby Gifts, an ecommerce shop selling quality baby gifts and products.

Since 2005 I have had first hand experience using many different advertising technologies and systems.

In 2014 I launched AdClix - offering seo consultant services in the North West together with ppc marketing campaign management services. I am Google AdWords Certified and have extensive knowledge of the Google AdWords program and Microsoft Bing Ads. I have also run training seminars on paid search advertising.

In January 2016 I took the role of Web Systems Consultant at Cardinal Newman College working on an further education student system that was developed and maintained inhouse but also licenced to other colleges.

In Summer 2017 I moved to Hit Search Limited in Liverpool - promoting ecommerce and service websites through SEO and PPC and developing CRO solutions.

Since July 2018 I have been a SEO Manager in Manchester developing strategies for major brands such as Lexus, Best Western, Expedia, Lloyds Bank Cardnet, LNER, Unilever and the Co-op. Initially at AmazeRealise the company rebranded as Kin + Carta Connect in early 2020.
